This site displays some of the photographs I've made over the fifty years or so of my fascination with the endless possibilities of this medium. As you will see if you continue into the site, a lot of different things have caght my eye. I made all these images with nothing much in mind beyond recording something that caught my eye at the time. In the process of editing these thousands of images, I slowly began to notice that the most succesful of them seemed to have in common a quality of commonplace weirdness, an unremarkable and undramatic kind of peculiarity. I see in these images a presence beyond the obvious subject matter, which in nearly every case is entirely banal. I hope you will continue into the site, and enjoy what you find there.
